Five hundred years ago Versilia tied its fate to Florence. It was Pope Leo X, the son of Lorenzo the Magnificent, who made this land a possession of the Medici Family, and sowed the seed of a development which, beginning with Michelangelo Buonarroti and the magnificent marble of Versilia, achieved the superior touristic and cultural characteristics of our days. Five hundred years after, Versilia rediscovers and celebrates its history.
The calendar of celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the arbitration ruling of Pope Leo X is supported by a large number of institutions, businesses and volunteers who share the goals of the project, aimed at enhancing the unity and cultural identity of Versilia Medicea.
Companies, associations and organizations can use the logo of the celebrations in their information and promotional materials (letterhead, business cards, websites, etc..) by adhering to a special partnership program. The logo is licensed for use in the face of an economic contribution or for the provision of services and partnerships to support the program of events. The partners share the spirit of the celebration, and also through the diffusion of the official branding, they contribute to advertising the knowledge of the celebration.
All details are contained in the partnership program that is available for download in the Documents section of this website (the documents are in Italian).
